Today was officially the first day of sweater weather… for me. Feel free to follow along though! While it’s normally freezing in my office and I usually seek comfort in my space heater today I decided to break out the sweaters.
Also note that I’m actually wearing “normal” work pants today. I paired a silk top with a cable knit sweater for a cozy delicate look. I really like how opposite the fabrics are and the slight difference in color adds a slight variation that’s easy on the eyes.

Thank you! I’ve been waiting for fall for what seems like forever there’s just something about that crisp fall breeze that puts me in a great mood! Thanks for stoping by! xo
It’s not quite a sweater but I did pull out a north face fleece today… Not real cute but it was nice and cozy! Haha if the crisp fall weather continues I’m definitely breaking out a cable knit tomorrow! 🙂
Also, I’m in love with that necklace. Charming Charlie’s always has the cutest stuff!

Haha, North Faces are definitely cute, I like to call the fuzzy ones the boyfriend of all jackets. Hugs you close, keeps you warm 😉 I know! I wish I there was a Charming Charlie around here, I can only shop there if I visit some friends in Milwaukee and there isn’t even an online store. Grr. I just have a few pieces from there, I just found out about them this year!
Hahahah ooh I am SO stealing that term!
Merrrr that is tricky though. I don’t think there is one too close to DC, I usually have to stock up on CC goodies while I’m back home in the Lone Stare State! 🙂
Omg you just said merrr I probably overuse that to the point where people want to beat me with a stick haha. My love for you has just increased a little.

I love sweater weather! You’re belted cardi is beautiful.
Thank you! I usually wear the bow to the side but eh, it made it’s way to the front I guess.
What a cute look! I love your necklace!
Thanks! 🙂
You are very welcome! 😉
I like your sweater, it looks very comfortable and warm! Sadly, it has been a sweater weather here in Wisconsin for a bit.

So warm…a little too warm, I was feeling a little too comfortable at my desk this day. Thanks for stopping by!
Oh you’re making me want a pumpkin spice latte with that gorgeous mix of neutrals! By the way, aren’t The Limited pants THE BEST for work?? I swear by them. Always have.
Mmmm my favorite! Starbucks ❤ Also I just broke out my pumpkin scented candle. Yes! I keep forgetting how comfortable their pants are! I usually hate wearing traditional work pants, but these, these I will forever make an acception.
Love your sweater! And the necklace goes perfectly with it. 🙂
Thank you for following, and leaving a sweet comment. Your blog looks great, following you now. 🙂

This dress is gorgeous, this shade looks lovely on you
What cozy classic look!
Thank you! 😀
I’m such a huge fan of comfy sweaters just like yours during the fall and winter! There’s something special about being wrapped up in a sweater that doubles as a blanket. I love the cable knit and the belt on yours – you look ready for fall!

Love that sweater! It’s far too easy in the winter to wear sweaters that are shapeless; I love seeing warm sweaters that don’t hide all your curves!
